Both my thesis were on antenna modelling and design . My doctoral thesis was on the rapid analysis of pixel patch antennas, the title being <em>\u2018 <\/em> <em><a href=\"https:\/\/electronics-lab.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/A-Planar-Circuit-Model-for-the-analysis-of-Pixel-Antennas-Abstract.pdf\">A Planar Circuit Model for the analysis of Pixel Antennas<\/a>\u2018.<\/em> My graduate thesis was on <a href=\"https:\/\/electronics-lab.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Synopsis.pdf\">\u2018<em>Switched beam antenna design, Theory and Experiment<\/em>\u2018<\/a>, My areas of specialization are :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Antenna Design<\/li>\n<li>Radio Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Analog and Digital hardware design (from Transistor to FPGA)<\/li>\n<li>Microcontrollers and embedded systems<\/li>\n<li>Digital Signal Processing (DSP)<\/li>\n<li>Telephony<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>My work experience includes<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lecturing at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcast.edu.mt\">MCAST<\/a> and the University of Malta<\/li>\n<li>Curriculum Design and Development<\/li>\n<li>Electronics in automotive technology, especially the area of Electromagnetic Compatibility<\/li>\n<li>LAN\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>WAN over ADSL<\/li>\n<li>Design and Maintenance of community radio stations<\/li>\n<li>Design, Construction and Maintenance of Outside Broadcast units for radio stations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Apart from my professional work I maintain a pro-am electronics workshop at home which is fully prepared to test equipment up to 200MHz. Why do I describe myself as a pro-am?
